This German-made fountain pen features a solid brass-built contour along with a screw-on cap for extra security. The nib is made out of chrome-plated steel containing an iridium tip. The metal Kaweco logo on the tip of the cap gives a royal aspect of to its appearance. The speciality of Brass that it will deepen to a state and appear in a classic form. An ink cartridge comes inside the barrel of the pen. Its weight is perfectly balanced, and its construction is well-structured. Carry it for fashion or work, it serves for both ends.
Note: The metal body of this pen can be corroded by prolonged contact with ink. Be sure to clean off any ink that gets onto its surface, and do not use it as an eyedropper pen.
The Kaweco Brass Sport with a fine nib is a great pen. The pen's styling is phenomenal and it has been around so long that it has legendary status. Its brass construction means that you can put a little metal polish on the pen and make it shine or you can do nothing other than touch and caress the pen and let it develop its own unique dark patina. No two will ever look exactly the same! Plus this is a "pocket pen", it's meant to be carried and since it's brass it can withstand getting knocked around with keys and loose change. But also, being constructed of brass, this is a heavy pen although with the cap posted the balance is perfect. The pen will last a lifetime and should be passed down through the family. I definitely recommend this pen!
